19-year-old Athens-via-Atlanta duo hey, nothing have kicked off 2025 with their new single, ‘Barn Nursery’. The band have found a unique sound that allows tender, acoustic guitar-centric folk to collide with characteristics of punk and the emotive nature of emo. ‘Barn Nursery’ is propelled by their lyrics, which blend wit with a sense of deep introspection. At its core, it’s a meditation on the stages of grief, wandering through guilt, anger and blame, before attempting to find some semblance of absolution.
